Lindzen disagrees with one part of the plan that was presented, that the water vapor expelled would negate the carbon emissions when the emissions reached a high concentration level in the atmosphere. As well, the book cited in Shaughnessy's article was written by Fred Singer and Dennis Avery. Fred Singer is an accomplished physicist but Dennis Avery's credentials are biased to say the least. Avery works for the conservative think tank, Hudson Institute, while sharing unconventional beliefs such as DDT does not cause the fragility of eagle eggshells.
